Access to Château du Colombier in Saint-Malo
Located in Saint-Malo, Château du Colombier offers you the advantage of being situated in a residential area just minutes from the historic city and in the heart of a peaceful and bucolic environment.
Entrance to the estate via rue de la Buzardière or Lieu-dit Le Colombier then follow the signage.
→ From Saint-Malo center
• Follow direction Paramé / Petit Paramé.
• Once in the residential area, follow the signs “Château du Colombier” to the entrance of the estate.
→ From Rennes
• Take the D2 towards Saint-Malo center.
• At the first large roundabout after the Mercedes garage, continue towards Saint-Malo.
• Pass the next two roundabouts, then cross the railway.
• First left towards Le Tertre Barré, then follow the signs Château du Colombier.

Car access
From Saint-Malo center or the beaches:
• Bike paths and shared lanes allow you to go there by bike comfortably (about 10–15 min).
• From Paramé, pedestrian walks provide access to the castle on foot for Sunday strolls.

Départ : Intra-Muros ou gare de Saint-Malo
Sortez vers le quartier de Paramé (direction sud-est).
Rejoignez l’avenue du Général de Gaulle
C’est l’axe principal pour sortir du centre.
Continuez tout droit pendant plusieurs kilomètres.
Direction Paramé / Rothéneuf
Suivez les panneaux vers Paramé.
Vous traversez une zone résidentielle.
Arrivé vers “Petit Paramé”
Tournez vers rue de la Buzardière ou Le Tertre Barré (selon votre point exact).
Continuez jusqu’à voir les indications du château.
Entrée du domaine
Le château est légèrement en retrait, dans un parc.

• Dinard-Pleurtuit-Saint-Malo Airport – ~15–20 min by car from the castle.
Another airport to consider:
• Rennes – Saint-Jacques Airport – about 1 h drive to the castle.
From these airports: taxi, private hire or car rental are the simplest ways to reach the Castle.
Access by Plane
The Saint-Malo TGV station is located about 3 km from the castle.
How to proceed next:
• Taxi / VTC to Château du Colombier (10 min).
• Urban bus: Malo Agglo Transports (MAT) network serves Paramé / Petit Paramé from the station (according to schedules).
Example: Local lines 3, 4, or 5 pass through nearby neighborhoods (check according to your exact stop and schedules).
Train Access
If you arrive by ferry (for example from England or the islands), you will usually arrive at Saint-Servan (ferry terminal).
It’s about 15 minutes by car from Château du Colombier.
Access by Boat / Ferry
The Malo Agglo Transports (MAT) network serves the entire Saint-Malo area, with several lines to Paramé / Petit Paramé (near the castle).
